About the Job
As the Director of Social and Influencer, you will lead efforts in developing and executing innovative social media and creator strategies with a focus on content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and growth for our clients.
This role will oversee a team of social and influencer managers, as well as content strategists to ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful content that aligns with our client’s goals and resonates with key target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
? Lead a team of social media/influencer managers and coordinators, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to support their professional growth and development.
? Set clear goals, expectations, and performance targets for the team, and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to ensure success.
? Drive growth of the overall department
Content Development:
? Craft comprehensive content strategies across multiple channels, integrating owned, earned, and paid media to drive alignment with business objectives.
? Collaborate closely with copy and creative teams to produce impactful content and experiences, with a particular emphasis on mobile platforms and social media.
? Develop content frameworks informed by deep audience insights.
? Advocate for and promote the content strategy across all teams within the organization.
? Define and track success metrics for various content initiatives.
Social Media Strategy:
? Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with clients' business objectives and brand identities, leveraging insights and best practices to maximize impact and ROI.
? Identify emerging trends, platforms, and technologies to stay ahead of the curve and capitalize on new opportunities for engagement and growth.
? Collaborate with internal teams and clients to integrate social media strategies into broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Influencer Partnerships:
? Lead the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify clients' messaging and reach target audiences effectively.
? Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators, negotiating partnerships and collaborations that align with clients' goals and values.
? Manage influencer campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
Client Engagement:
? Serve as the primary point of contact for social media and influencer-related initiatives, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service delivery.
? Present social media strategies, campaign concepts, and performance updates to clients with confidence and professionalism, addressing questions and concerns and soliciting feedback to inform ongoing optimization efforts.
? Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities to add value and drive client satisfaction and retention.
Performance & Budget Tracking and Reporting:
? Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders and clients to track progress towards goals and inform strategic decision-making.
? Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies, tactics, and content for maximum impact and effectiveness.
? Develop and manage the content and social media budget, ensuring resources are allocated
effectively and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
? 7+ years of experience in social media marketing, influencer relations, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in driving brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
