At Digital Hands, we're on a mission to enhance cybersecurity, empowering organizations to defend against complex cyber threats. Reporting to the VP of Security Operations, we're seeking a visionary Director of Cyber Security Response to lead our elite team of Security Analysts and redefine our proactive detection and response strategies.

THINGS YOU'LL DO
- Lead a High-Impact Team: Hire, manage and inspire Security Analysts by setting performance expectations and ensuring their development and success.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Manage daily security operations to maximize 24/7 resources utilization while fostering performance excellence.
- Foster a Culture of Continuous Innovation: Promote innovative strategies to stay ahead of competitors, refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for continuous improvement of security detection and response.
- Leverage Data for Insights: Analyze security metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency and enhancement.
- Standardize Best Practices: Establish streamlined processes for efficient detection and response, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Build a dynamic learning environment through regular training and performance evaluations, while focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction (CSAT), retention, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Shape Our Security Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive detection and response strategies that prioritize proactive measures.
- Advocate for Cybersecurity Excellence: Communicate our security strategy effectively across all organizational levels.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years in managerial or team leadership roles within a SOC.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of security tools and frameworks, including SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and endpoint security.
- MSSP Experience: Preferred experience in a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) environment and/or large-scale security environments.
