Job Summary:
As a MGM/Casino Sales Representative based in Nevada, your primary goal will be to build and strengthen relationships within our key customer base to support sales strategy. While your focus will initially be on Las Vegas, you will also have opportunities to support key accounts across the country and globally. This role provides a platform to learn and grow within the sales field, gaining hands-on experience in customer interaction, project management, and strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Sales Strategies:
- Developing and executing a sales plan to achieve sales targets.
- Support CRO by assisting and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop and coordinate sales presentations and product demonstrations to educate clients on LED Connection's offerings.
- Perform market research and data gathering to inform sales tactics and strategies.
Project Management and Support:
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to order completion, ensuring a seamless transition and detailed handoff to the Project Management team.
- Provide support for any post-sales needs, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any follow-up concerns or requirements.
- Be readily available for client calls and meetings to facilitate ongoing project needs and communications.
- Identifying and developing additional opportunities to support and expand the CRO's accounts.
- Manage project deliverables including designs, quotes, rebates, incentives, and ETAs, and creation of comprehensive lighting proposals.
- Conduct detailed intake meetings when orders are placed to transition projects from sales, design, and estimating over to project management.
- Coordinate and drive customer needs both internally and externally to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Conduct significant project follow-up and sales pipeline management to ensure timely tracking and closure of projects.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training sessions to understand the full range of products and services offered by LED Connection.
- Gain knowledge of the sales process from initial contact through negotiation and closing.
- Develop understanding of customer needs analysis and learn how to tailor solutions accordingly.
Administrative and Reporting Support:
- Preparing sales reports and forecasts for the team.
- Learn to use CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions under the guidance of more experienced staff.
Qualifications:
- Interest in developing a career in sales, particularly within the electrical or lighting industry.
- Eager to learn and able to work well in a team environment.
- Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within Nevada as needed, with potential for national and global travel.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Understanding of the lighting industry and a wide range of products is essential.
