About the Job
S&S is seeking an automotive enthusiast for the Director of Sales, Light Duty and Brand Strategy who will lead and drive the Multichannel, Big Box, & Wholesale sales efforts, ensuring the successful alignment of brand strategy with market trends and customer needs. Focusing on our house brands such as Motive Gear, PowerTrax, Richmond Gear and Ten Factory. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand market presence, increase revenue, and strengthen brand equity across multiple sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Multichannel, Big Box, & Wholesale channels to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships with key accounts and clients.
- Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
Brand Strategy and Development
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align sales initiatives with brand vision, positioning, and messaging.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and refine brand strategies.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent representation across all channels and partnerships.
Leadership and Team Development
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to support professional growth.
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and brand alignment.
Wholesale and Retail Operations
- Manage relationships with Multichannel, Big Box, & Wholesale partners to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate on inventory planning and management to meet market demand while minimizing waste.
- Drive retail execution excellence, including visual merchandising, and promotional activities.
Travel Requirement / Work Schedule
- 50%
- Corporate Trade Shows
- Tuesday – Thursday in office (If within 60 miles of facility)
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- 7-10+ years of experience in sales, brand management, or marketing, with a focus on Ecommerce & Big Box sectors.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading successful brand strategies.
Skills and Competencies
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term results and long-term objectives.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes in the Ecommerce & Big Box industries.
