Currently we are looking for a top performing Director of Sales. Hotel Extended Stay experience is preferred. This role oversees all sales activities for the hotel. Their primary role is to obtain new or repeat business and ensure those guests are satisfied. They are responsible for creating a sales strategy, reach revenue growth targets in all categories such as transient revenue, group room rents, food and beverage sales, and banquet or conference space rentals. They also interact with guests by preparing informational materials, receiving and responding to correspondence, and attending pre-event meetings. They must have strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to build rapport with both new and existing guests. If this sounds like you, please apply today!

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities include:
- Coordination with the General Manager in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability
- Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
- Establish strategies to assist in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives
- Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue
- Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required
- Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills
- Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required
- Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
