Director of Sales - Healthcare Risk Solution Sales, California
The company is looking for a Sales Leader with extensive knowledge of the California risk market. Specifically, the candidate should have a network into Risk Bearing Organizations in the California market (including Medicare Advantage Companies, IPA’s, ACO’s, MSOs, Risk Contract Holders, MSSP’s, ACO Reach and other PMPM payment models).
Candidates with experience in the Healthcare Risk Payor segment are preferred. Candidates should have deep understanding of two-sided risk models, Medicare Advantage and related business models. The candidate must be a resident of CA. The candidate is expected to travel to CA RBO locations and industry events to engage customers. We expect about two weeks of travel every month.
The Sales Leader will be responsible for generating leads and closing deals in the CA risk market. They will also have significant contributions leading the company’s business strategy. This role will shape our Offering Roadmap, GTM channels, Marketing Strategy and more. This role is targeting Management Service Organizations, IPAs, Medical Groups and Risk Bearing Organizations.
Compensation
The Director of Risk Solution Sales, California will be compensated with cash and equity.
• Base Salary: $150K - $250K / year
• Commission: Industry standard sales commissions
• Equity: The equity stake offered will be tied to the ratio of base salary to commissions and the candidate’s performance. Higher the base salary and higher the commissions, lower the equity.
Responsibilities
• Generate leads for California Risk Bearing Organizations.
• Close sales of the company’s Enterprise AI Platform For Risk Bearing Entities.
• Engage California RBO’s in face-to-face engagements at their facilities.
• Engage Califronia RBO’s in industry conferences and events.
• Close 2 deals per quarter.
• Contribute to offering and product roadmap
• Develop partner channels.
Skills / Experience Required
This role requires:
• Proven track record of risk market engagement in California.
• Proven track record dealing with risk bearing organizations.
• Deep knowledge and network into the California (CA) risk market.
• Deep industry knowledge of IPA’s, Risk Contracts and Shared Savings Programs.
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare Advantage’s Risk Adjustments and HCCs.
• Deep knowledge of claims adjudication platforms (EZCap, QuickCap and other systems).
• Deep knowledge of all aspects of a Risk Bearing Organization and MSO’s.
• Proven capability to reach into IPA / Risk Bearing Organization / MSOs/ Medical Group CFO offices.
• 10+ Healthcare industry experience, specifically in the Payor segment.
• Extensive knowledge of the healthcare technology ecosystem.
