Position Summary: As the Director of Sales, youll be at the heart of our sales operations, working closely with our Sales team, including Regional Sales Managers, DSRs, and National Account Managers. Your mission? To nurture and grow positive, long-term relationships with key accounts across Feesers Food Distributors footprint. Youll set and achieve specific objectives for these key accounts, driving our success forward.

Youll set and achieve specific objectives for these key accounts, driving our success forward.
What Youll Do:
- Lead with Excellence: Drive sales and optimize profits in line with Feesers long and short-term goals.
- Build a Winning Team: Foster a culture of external focus, frequent customer visits, and top-notch customer service.
- Forge Strong Partnerships: Establish and maintain sales partnerships with key customers through regular business reviews and competitive analysis.
- Innovate and Strategize: Develop and manage innovative sales strategies to leverage our current capabilities and explore new channels.
- Inspire Trust: Lead your team to build high levels of customer partnership and trust.
- Drive New Ideas: Contribute to the ideation of new products and markets, challenging the status quo and promoting continuous improvement.
- Manage and Direct: Oversee a sales team of regional managers and DSRs, and manage industry trade shows and targeted events.
- Forecast and Analyze: Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and analysis to upper management.
- Oversee Beverage Department: Manage new products and account opportunities in our beverage department.
- Coordinate Marketing: Work with customers and our internal marketing department to coordinate marketing programs.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead the sales team and collaborate with various departments.
- Relationship Builder: Strong portfolio of relationships and experience with major accounts.
- Excellent Communicator: Great team leader with top-notch communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Integrity: Impeccable integrity, unafraid to tackle bad news and trusted universally by the organization.
- Account Penetration: Excellent multi-level account penetration skills.
- Problem Solver: Strong written, verbal, analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of five years in a successful sales environment.
- Minimum of ten years experience in the foodservice industry.
- Proficiency in creating and managing spreadsheets, with the ability to create sales forecasts and budgets in Excel.
- Ability to move in different positions, including tight and confined spaces.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods.
- Ability to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another.
- Strong communication skills to exchange information.
- Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Visual acuity for close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust.
