our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead and expand their sales efforts in the Dallas, TX area. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the sales strategy, managing the sales team, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B sales, can diversify business to include and/or Light Industrial, Hospitality, Engineering, O & A, or F & A, and a proven ability to build and nurture client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the sustainable staffing industry, with a focus on expanding our clients market presence in Dallas and other markets throughout Texas.
Team Leadership & Development: Will hire, train, mentor and develop recruiters and other sales reps as each market grows. Until then, will be an individual contributor with the ability to work a full desk (sell, recruit, manage accounts).
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their staffing needs and delivering tailored staffing solutions that align with their sustainability goals.
Diversify Business Portfolio: Identify new business opportunities within existing markets to diversify the business mix. Drive business development efforts through B2B sales, networking, prospecting, and partnerships. Someone with experience in any of the following is preferred: Light Industrial, Hospitality, Engineering, F & A, or O & A.
Sales Performance & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics, customer feedback, and market trends. Use data to adjust strategies and ensure the achievement of growth targets.
Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. Provide feedback and insights to improve operational processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the staffing or HR industry, with a strong background in B2B sales and business development.
- A BOB to include and/or Light Industrial, Hospitality, Engineering, F & A, or O & A.
- Proven experience managing and leading a sales team, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the Dallas market and local business landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and deliver results.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
