Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain sales action plans and marketing plans.
- Develop and review annual budgets and forecasts, and review both, monthly. Forecast and report on sales activity.
- Conduct and provide periodic training to sales team, as it relates to products, application, competitive intelligence and analysis, sales, and forecasting.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent and timely communication. Interface, communicate, and collaborate across various levels and divisions, effectively, including with dealers, sales personnel, other departments.
- Develop and support the sales team, including direct and indirect reports.
- Maintain sales and marketing programs, including direct mail, advertising, promotions, trade shows and exhibits, trade association memberships and participation, events, factory visits, sales incentives, and specials.
- Market development around new customers and products.
- Analyze, interpret, and present records of current and historic sales trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to senior leadership.
- Coordinate internal technical engineering support and services to understand and address customers' needs.
- Promote products at trade shows and conferences.
- Maintain market awareness as it relates to changes, needs, pricing, and competition; develop plans to address any internal gaps.
- Travel ~50%, both domestically and internationally.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by CEO.
Requirements:
- Education and Training Bachelors Degree, with a focus in engineering or related technical discipline or as deemed sufficient by management
- Technical Requirements Proficient in Microsoft office specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in CRM and SAP preferred
- Strong business, financial, and leadership acumen; ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams, while interfacing with senior leadership
- High level of commitment, and accountability, as it relates to quality and safety
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagrammatic or schedule form
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of autonomy
- Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form
- Able to compute discount, interest, profit and loss; commission, markup, and selling price; ratio and proportion, and percentage; calculate surface, volumes, weights, and measures; calculate variables and formulas; monomials and polynomials
- Must be willing and able to travel, including internationally and available to work extended hours when required to complete projects on time
- 10+ years of experience within large, industrial, equipment sales, leading teams
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, sit, kneel, crawl, see, read, hear, have the physical and mental ability to travel independently and the physical and mental ability to comply with customary workshop, office, job site work environments, safety requirements and other customary regulations and requirements in these environments
