As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, retaining, and expanding business in both new and existing accounts, focusing on driving revenue growth and ensuring client satisfaction. Your leadership will impact a dedicated group of up to 8 sales professionals located in the Northern Boston area, where you'll play a pivotal role in hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining top talent. Furthermore, your responsibilities extend to engaging and building strong relationships with C-level clients while working cross-functionally across the organization to achieve our ambitious business goals. This is a hybrid role, working onsite regularly out of our office in Foxborough and visiting onsite with customers weekly.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive the achievement of team revenue, profit, and expense objectives, with a focus on digital transformation solutions.
- Elevate client satisfaction by expanding C-level client relationships and crafting strategic account plans.
- Inspire and motivate a sales team, providing direction and support to achieve targets.
- Identify challenges and develop practical solutions to overcome obstacles in the sales process.
- Strong negotiating abilities to close deals effectively.
- Plan and implement recurring team meetings and training.
- Facilitate account development strategies on target accounts.
- Coach, train, and develop strategies to maximize market potential.
- Establish effective partnerships with Operations, Customer Service, and Product Management.
- Manage daily/weekly sales activity and develop sales budgets and forecasts.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 4+ years of outstanding B2B sales and marketing achievements.
- Experience working in a CRM; Salesforce is a plus.
- Information Technology Industry experience preferred.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience.
- Desire to lead a team; previous leadership experience is a plus.
- Exceptional business acumen with demonstrated team leadership.
- Strategic relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suites.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
