If so, we are looking for a Permanent Director of Sales (Bicycle Tires Required) to join our team. Responsibilities
As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the business's bicycle tire division.
2. Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
3. Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
4. Negotiating and closing agreements with large customers.
5. Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
6. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
7. Providing timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
8. Liaising with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
9. Staying up-to-date with new product launches and ensuring the sales team is on board.
10. Utilizing CRM tools to monitor team performance and customer satisfaction.
11. Using data analytics to drive effective decision making.
12. Engaging in prospecting and cold calling to establish new business relationships.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in prospecting and cold-calling, with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
4. Strong knowledge of CRM software and data analytics.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
6. The ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
7. Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
8. Strong decision-making abilities.
9. A proven "hunter" mentality, with the drive and ambition to expand our customer base.
10. An understanding of, and passion for, the bicycle tire industry.
