Director of Sales – Power Transmission

Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure annual regional revenue growth aligns with corporate objectives.
- Prepare and execute annual sales business plans for the respective region.
- Engage directly with key and target accounts.
- Oversee the sales activities and time management of District Sales Managers, ensuring CRM adherence to standard work guidelines.
- Mentor and develop the sales team to reach their highest potential.
- Provide recommendations on national sales plans, distributor plans, and policies related to the sales force and customers.
- Implement sales and distributor plans, and related policies.
- Foster a work environment that is clean, safe, and environmentally friendly.
- Manage processes and controls to ensure policy implementation and enforcement.
- Uphold a high level of ethics in customer dealings, safeguarding the company's interests in commercial transactions within the region.
- Provide regular feedback to the Vice President of Sales regarding key target accounts, territory sales activities, and customer concerns.
- Exhibit strong leadership to assist the company in achieving its goals.
- Contribute to the creation of the overall company strategy and identify strategic advantages for the marketplace.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in sales, with at least 5 years in the Power Transmission Gear Reducer market. Minimum of 3 years in sales management preferred.
- Skills and Key Attributes:
- Strong understanding of the industrial sales process, sales and interpersonal skills, the gearing industry, and key competitors.
- Ability to build relationships with key and target accounts at all levels, including C-Suite.
- Basic understanding of human resources and management practices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to travel without restriction, including overnight travel.
