The Director of Sales, Audio-Visual is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day sales operations for their assigned location. They will also identify objectives, winning strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings by the management of the sales and operations, and the support and development of the sales team.
Your day will look like this:
- Develop sales strategies covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence and market share in their area.
- Promote/sell orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach based on presenting innovative technological solutions.
- Manage and assign market sectors and/or product lines to the sales team to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
- Make presentations and prepare technical specifications for existing and prospective customers.
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
- Perform sales activities on major accounts and assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and report with top echelon decision-makers.
- Review the sales team’s quotations and discounts as well as the management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts procedures.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
- Build and develop a team based on performance and growth targets of the branch.
- Manage, support and coach the sales team in the day-to-day management.
- Participate in the hiring and integration of new employees.
- Supervise the execution of tasks to ensure good health and safety practices for all employees
Your profile:
- College Degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferably
- A minimum of 7 years selling AV Integration
- Minimum of 3 years supervising a team
- Low or High Voltage construction experience preferred
- Good knowledge of Office 365 (Excel, Word)
- Experience using Salesforce
- Ability to manage a team.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Track record showing B2B sales detailing overall growth.
- Ability to multi-task with a sense of calm resolve
- Great discretion, concern for confidentiality
