About the Job
Responsibilities/Duties: Serve as the live-in staff member that supervises Resident Assistants and Resident Mentors along with managing the administrative needs of a residence hall facility. Create and develop a community within the halls that supports the University mission and department goals. Work within the Office of Student Leadership & Involvement to advise the Campus Activities Board, host programming, and support initiatives that improve the student experience.
Skill Sets: Knowledge of residence halls and best practices for management, supervisory skills, ability to relate to students, ability to serve as a role model and mentor, collaborate with staff, faculty, and students, understand student needs, crisis management, conflict mediation, event planning, advising
Education Requirements: Bachelor's required, Master's preferred.
