Position: Director of Rehabilitation

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced therapist (PT, OT, SLP, COTA, or PTA) to join our team as a Director of Rehabilitation for a 90 bed SNF. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading the rehabilitation department, as well as providing direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting

- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a variety of conditions and needs

- Evaluate patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary

- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients

- Provide hands-on therapy services to patients as needed

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services

- Train and mentor therapy staff to ensure high-quality care and professional development

- Participate in facility meetings and provide reports on department performance and patient outcomes

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans

Qualifications:

- Current state license to practice as a PT, OT, SLP, COTA or PTA

- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a therapist

- Previous experience in a management or leadership role preferred

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in electronic medical record systems

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
