Director of Property Management:
The Director will have bottom-line responsibility for overseeing the management of 3+ Million SF of retail property throughout New Jersey. The Director will motivate, train, and mentor a high performing property management team including senior and jr level property managers, leasing, marketing, maintenance, and administrative teams.

This individual will work alongside executive management and ownership in making crucial decisions which will directly impact future company growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operational and financial success of a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Effectively manage a team of property management, leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff.
- Communicate regularly with on-site property managers, company employees, property owners, financial partners, vendors, and others as required.
- Ensure tenant occupancy and delinquency goals are met across the portfolio.
- Provide reviews and analysis of operating budgets and monthly/quarterly/annually financial statements.
- Perform regular visits to each property to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
- Monitor building violations to ensure on-site managers are addressing complaints in a timely manner and certifying corrections.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to all local, state, and government legal requirements.
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on Real Estate Property Management experience showing increased responsibility and demonstrated performance.
- Demonstrated experience managing a commercial retail portfolio of 2M+ square feet.
- An undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Business Management, or Finance is a plus!
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong experience negotiating and managing 3rd-party vendors.
- Complete understanding of renovations and capital improvement construction projects.
- The desired candidate will possess strong leadership skills and natural charisma with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a large staff of employees.
- Inspirational leader with ability to mentor and extract the highest potential from supporting staff, outside vendors, and consultants.
