The Position will provide interface, communication, and coordination with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to new and existing projects.
Will also support bid and proposal activities. Nature of Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe primary functional oversight responsibilities are:Institute and maintain appropriate project management processes with customersEnsure product development and qualifications are achieved timely with compliance.Work with sales to manage projections and anticipated projectsMaintain tight planning and collaboration with the design execution team, sales, and the manufacturing operations Forecast anticipated resource needsWork with Sanmina’s technology partnersParticipate in contract authoring and negotiationsParticipate in the creation of Statements of WorkFacilitate the design delivery processEnsure the quality of all deliverablesManage transfer of the designs to manufacturing operationsManage the ramp to mature productionScope / Change managementManage project financials / profitabilityDrive Customer SatisfactionEnsure proper training of new staff The successful candidate will have significant experience managing the product realization process for cooling solutions and products dedicated to the data center ecosystem, including hyper scale customers. The candidate must have experience in the end-to-end process of project planning, requirements management, risk management, documentation, design processes, test processes, and manufacturing.
8+ years experience in managing complex projects and team of project managers, ideally with PMP certification and bachelors degree in a relevant course of study and a history of successful product realization and transfer to manufacturing is needed.The successful candidate will possess the following interpersonal skills:Highly effective communicator (business and technical)Excellent customer relations experience and skillsStrong conflict management skills & experienceStrong leadership and team building experience and skillsStrong motivational skillsAble to successfully manage a variety of concurrent effortsAble to succeed in a high-velocity environmentConsistent positive attitude that influences the team, partners, and customersExceptional organizational skills and approach focused on employee success and growthParticipate as a team member or leader on bid and proposal activities.
