Clayton Services is searching for a Director of Project Execution to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The Director of Project Execution will manage the entire project lifecycle, from Sales handover to Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Project Management, and Site Management, by working closely with internal departments, including Purchasing and Logistics as well as external stakeholders, and customers.

Director of Project Execution Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the Project Execution team across the US through two locations, Texas and Florida.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to elevate efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture geared towards achieving project objectives and surpassing client expectations.
- Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the seamless delivery of projects.
- Foster and maintain strong customer relationships, facilitating effective communication and resolution of issues to meet or exceed client needs and expectations.
- Supervise all departments within Project Execution, including Project Management & Engineering, Mechanical Design, and Site Management.
- Oversee procurement processes, from vendor selection to contract management, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services within budgetary constraints.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive capacity planning and forecasting for the entire project execution team.
- Formulate and execute strategies and key performance indicators to gauge team performance and monitor progress against set targets.
- Proactively identify and address project risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial parameters.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
- Forge strong partnerships with supporting departments to optimize resource allocation and streamline operations.

- Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction practices, and regulatory requirements related to material handling systems.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, project management methodologies, and other relevant project planning and tracking tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within the material handling or related industry, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Previous experience in a management role.
