About This Role
The AI Solutions team is at the forefront of innovation. As a Director of Product Management focused on end to end AI/ML workflow, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge ML platform. You will work with customers, open source users, and internal experts to define our product direction and roadmap. You will collaborate with product designers and engineers to scope intuitive, elegant, and functional new features, and you will work cross-functionally with our engineering team to deliver those features to our customers. As an ML product leader, you will particularly focus on understanding new developments in machine learning and defining how our product should adapt to those advances. For example, if you’re excited about transfer learning and foundation models and how those ideas can be incorporated into our ML development environment, this might be the role for you!
Your work will include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to meet our company’s goals. You will directly report to VP of Product for the group.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with customers, community users, researchers, and internal experts to buildstate-of-the-art machine learning technologies, and to identify challenges and opportunities for the next generation of machine learning infrastructure
Leads, drives and provides approach for designing the end to end strategy for a suite of product portfolios that can be leveraged across the business unit
Sets teams standards and operational metrics across all portfolios to align with the business unit's strategic goals (ie: revenue unit/margins, market share, quality performance, channel route to market, quarterly financials and on time to delivery)
Refine and improve our user experience for the Machine Learning and Platform Engineer personas
Contribute to the design of new product features
Develop mockups and prototypes for user testing and write product feature specifications to handoff to engineering for execution
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers towards delivery of features
What We’re Looking For
Master's degree or MBA in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
Experience building applied AI solutions and/ or developing AI/ML platform and tools
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
User centric: Work backwards from user experience, regardless whether the product is a simple UI or complicated API. You always put yourself in the customers’ shoes
Technical: Experienced in large scale developer facing products, APIs and services, you can engage with engineering beyond just product and user needs; you can help design scalable solutions, business cases and create detailed product specs
Data-driven: You are proficient in defining KPIs for complex products, doing analysis, and deriving applicable insights from data
Collaborative: You bring product, engineering, user experience and data science together to drive the right product vision

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $158,500.00 - $383,500.00
