About the Job
Seminole Classic Casino pioneered Indian gaming when it opened as the country’s first large stakes bingo hall in 1979, eventually expanding with gaming machines and poker. The landmark casino is now home to over 1,000 state-of-the-art, newest-title slot machines and other local favorites such as Diamond Lottos, Fort Knox, Pirate’s Loot. The gaming leader also offers 24/7 live table game action with games including Blackjack, Baccarat, Spanish 21, Three Card Poker and many more. Responsibilities:
May include but are not limited to:
- Manage team of Hosts & Executive Hosts; Sets targets and expectations for team to drive incremental revenue and meet property goals.
- Leads team with a focus on sales, new business and business development.
- Creates activations and offers to drive leads to the property and captures their information and play when they are on property.
- Trains team on sales tactics to equip them with tools to hit their sales growth targets and achieve maximum bonus potential.
- Plans, builds and executes VIP experiences and events both on and off property.
- Maintains relationships and markets our gaming product and amenities to valued guests and develops new business relationships.
- Greets guests in the casino and participates in social events and special promotions.
- Evaluates player ratings to track visits, arranges accommodations and provides complimentaries according to established guidelines.
- Effectively handles guest complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Provides special services to include food, beverage, transportation, cross-property events and Player’s Club programs.
- Build annual Player Development budget plan focusing on profitable events and new business opportunities.
- Responsible for marketing to active and inactive customer by mail and phone to further develop brand loyalty and visitation to the casino and reports results of each.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.
- Safeguards the confidential nature of all departmental and general property records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising or Marketing preferred.
- At least five years of player development or casino marketing experience required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have ability to lead and motivate diverse team of Hosts.
- Candidate must bring established book of new customers to Seminole Classic Casino.
- Must have excellent communication skills, judgment, high moral integrity and strong work ethic.
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Seminole Tribe of Florida, and Player Development departmental policies and procedures.
- Must have strong organizational, planning and communication skills.
- Must possess strong leadership and team building skills.
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Must present professional image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional image.
- Must be able to tolerate casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to serving customers in a high pressure fast paced environment.
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment
- Must be able and willing to work any shift and long hours when necessary to include working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hours
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds and able to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
