We are a leading technology company looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Platform Sales to join our team. This person will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly evolving industry, with the potential to shape the future of technology.
Responsibilities:
As the Director of Platform Sales, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
2. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
3. Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitors' status.
4. Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of our platform's features, capabilities, and potential to prospective clients.
5. Collaborating with the product development team to ensure sales strategies align with company objectives and product direction.
6. Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the executive team.
7. Overseeing and managing a high-performing sales team to ensure that revenue and growth targets are met.
8. Conducting regular training sessions with the sales team to ensure they remain knowledgeable about the latest industry trends and developments.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Director of Platform Sales position should have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the technology industry.
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
6. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
7. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
8. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
9. Exceptional negotiation skills and a knack for building long-lasting relationships.
10. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
