About Us: We are a well-established insurance agency with a rich history of providing exceptional insurance and risk management services. We are seeking a Director of Personal Lines to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with an operational mindset, committed to maintaining high standards of client experience and proactive service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Personal Lines Department across multiple locations.
- Develop and maintain departmental workflows and procedures.
- Identify, design, and implement strategies for the continued growth of the department, including cross-selling and rounding out coverage.
- Assist Supervisors with the mentorship and development of Client Advocates and Account Managers.
- Drive agency goals and performance objectives.
- Continuously improve the client service experience and deliver excellent customer service.
- Review and prepare monthly reports to track progress in achieving department objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
- Enhance productivity and foster a positive work environment within the department.
- Provide regular training for optimal use of the agency management system and carrier websites.
- Participate in annual evaluations for staff.
- Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff members.
- Manage accounts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Personal Lines.
- MA P & C License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with Applied Epic is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of the agency.
- Self-motivation and accountability to complete tasks.
- Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills.
