Director of Personal Lines at GPAC

About Us: We are a well-established insurance agency with a rich history of providing exceptional insurance and risk management services. We are seeking a Director of Personal Lines to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with an operational mindset, committed to maintaining high standards of client experience and proactive service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Personal Lines Department across multiple locations.
• Develop and maintain departmental workflows and procedures.
• Identify, design, and implement strategies for the continued growth of the department, including cross-selling and rounding out coverage.
• Assist Supervisors with the mentorship and development of Client Advocates and Account Managers.
• Drive agency goals and performance objectives.
• Continuously improve the client service experience and deliver excellent customer service.
• Review and prepare monthly reports to track progress in achieving department objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
• Enhance productivity and foster a positive work environment within the department.
• Provide regular training for optimal use of the agency management system and carrier websites.
• Participate in annual evaluations for staff.
• Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff members.
• Manage accounts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Personal Lines.
• MA P & C License.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Applied Epic is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of the agency.
• Self-motivation and accountability to complete tasks.
• Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills.
