DEJ Companies is seeking a motivated individual to lead and advance partnership efforts across the JR Motorsports and DEJ Management portfolio. This position is responsible for creating strategic partner activation plans, lead select partner account activity and support the broader team in project coordination, performance measurement and overall implementation of timelines and applicable budgets. The successful candidate is expected to consistently provide excellent partner service to foster strong relationships and ensure partnership objectives and goals are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the day-to-day management of select partner accounts under the supervision of the Head of Partnerships.
- Leads the development and planning of partnership activation strategies across JR Motorsports and DEJ Management that deliver on partner objectives.
- Works in collaboration with the broader team to create custom decks and pitch activation programs to partners.
- Consumes performance data across multiple channels to create insights that inform future application for the benefit of the partner and to ensure sponsorship ROI.
- Leads a team of partnership managers who are responsible for the implementation of activation programs, ensuring deliverables and plans are executed as aligned upon.
- Supports business development initiatives, notably creative thought strategy to pitch informed activation concepts.
- Develops and fosters a strong, collaborative working relationship with partners to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
- May take on special projects and roles to assist the team where needed.
- Maintains knowledge of the broader sponsorship landscape, trends and activation tactics.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years’ experience in sports or entertainment marketing with a focus on partnership management and activation
- Demonstrated strategic and creative thinker
- Proven track record of creating and executing strategic activation plans
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- Ability to develop informed, concise and effective materials for partners
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to lead and think creatively
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, fostering positive communication and relationships with internal and external parties
- Carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
- Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances
- Previous agency experience and knowledge of the NASCAR/motorsports industry is valued
- Ability to travel to some race weekends and be comfortable with extended days/nights, especially during periods of partnership activation
