Job Summary
We are hiring a Director of Operations – Wound Care with experience in the operations, management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program. The Director of Operations works collaboratively with the clinical, leadership and wound care team to provide consistent, quality care for patients with chronic wounds.
Administrative Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with referring physicians and administrative personnel who are integral to the operation of the wound program
Provides daily management and oversight of all aspects of the wound program
Continuously analyzes data and processes to ensure efficient operation and performance of the program
In conjunction with the coordinators, monitors program flow to ensure efficient productivity
Develops departmental plans, goals and objectives according to company policies and procedures
Collaborates with the Clinicians and Clinical Coordinator to provide appropriate wound service coverage
Assists with the development of the wound program’s budget and manages it to maximize program profitability
Addresses variances appropriately
Manages and coordinates all revenue cycle components including scheduling, registration, clinical coverage/treatment, documentation, billing, collections and denials
Monitor and analyze financial reports affecting financial performance of wound program and prepare reports for C-Suite
Coordinate auditing and clinical team to ensure documentation supports reimbursement
Stays current with LCD and CMS changes in reimbursement and provide appropriate notice/education to staff and physicians
Evaluates new products and equipment to ensure center maintains competitive edge in advanced therapies
Integrate effectively into organization
Build and maintain relationships with administration and departments affecting the wound program
Meet regularly with leadership regarding performance of program
Develop and maintain strategic and effective working relationship with Clinicians and wound center staff
Recruit, hire, manage, and train wound department personnel
Conducts regular meetings with Clinicians and Staff
Provides consistent and timely feedback to manage goals and expectations
Prepares and delivers performance evaluations
Works collaboratively with the Clinicians, Coordinators, and Medical Director to ensure accurate and timely patient care and documentation
Monitors patient and referring physician satisfaction
Develops strategic solutions to problems that arise
Monitor program operations to ensure patient safety
Utilize resources to develop marketing plan
Develop and maintain key relationships with referral sources
Execute marketing plan and document/track activities to leadership and manage trends and changes in the market

Experience:
1-2 years of experience in Wound Care Management
Intermediate level of experience with productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with office equipment, such as fax machines, copy machines, and phone systems
Comfort using business email system, such as Microsoft Outlook
Highly organized and able to create an organized and easy-to-follow system for others
Ability to handle multiple tasks and duties simultaneously
Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction
Strong communication skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma, and some college preferred.
Experience an Intake Coordinator
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion for patients and a commitment to providing excellent care.
Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
