Summary:
Seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of our day-to-day operations. This strategic leader will play a critical role in ensuring we deliver exceptional in-home care services to our patients while maintaining optimal organizational efficiency. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that support our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care.
- Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies that ensure efficient and effective delivery of home health services across all disciplines (nursing, therapy, social work, etc.).
- Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, including supervisors, schedulers, and care coordinators.
- Oversee all operational processes, including patient intake, scheduling, care delivery, and quality assurance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline workflows, maximize productivity, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational effectiveness, track patient outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to established financial protocols.
- Manage vendor relationships with a focus on securing reliable and cost-effective supplies and equipment for patient care.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to operations, ensuring compliance with all Medicare and state regulations.
- Lead staff development initiatives to ensure all team members stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory changes in home healthcare.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role within a home healthcare agency or related setting.
- Proven track record of success in improving operational efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction in a home healthcare setting.
- Deep understanding of Medicare and state regulations governing home healthcare services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and thrive under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, and electronic health record (EHR) systems used in home healthcare.
