Responsible for the operational, financial, and regulatory oversight of BHT, Dietary, and Facility Support Departments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise Behavioral Health Technician, Support, Administrative, Kitchen, and Maintenance staff. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling, training, hiring, terminating, 90-day and annual reviews, performance improvement plans, and meditation.
• Attends treatment team meetings, shift change and company meetings. Participates in work groups and gets involved in performance improvement of our organization.
• Models Pyramid’s Core Values and maintains a workplace environment that exemplifies those values. Promotes the use of Core Values as guidance for facility decision-making.
• Ensures programming and operations of the facility meet regulatory and accreditation standards
• Establishes a welcoming environment and promotes a client centered treatment delivery system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of community health resources that support life improvement in physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, economic security, employment, positive social and family interdependence and positive cultural identity
• Establishes a system of consistent communication at the program level including daily, weekly and monthly shift reports and staff meetings.
• Communicates necessary information in a timely and organized manner, invites, and responds to staff needs and feedback in a timely manner.
• Encourages and supports all staff in updating their skills and knowledge to ensure the most effective services
• Participate in maintaining clean, properly supplied and efficient work areas.

Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education, & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling
• 5+ year of experience working in Behavioral Health preferred
• Current CPR, AED and First Aid preferred

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. The employee must seldom carry up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will require local travel. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
