Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct, and coordinate all construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and oversee all field operations, including earthworks, to ensure the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of all operations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are planned and executed effectively.
- Oversee construction management, ensuring all projects are managed efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the construction and maintenance of structures and facilities.
- Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget and manage resources effectively.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior operations role within the construction industry, with a focus on field operations, earthworks, and construction management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and navigate challenges effectively.
- Proficient in relevant construction software and technology.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets effectively and maximize operational efficiency.
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel as required to oversee projects and meet with stakeholders.
