About the Job
Provide hands-on leadership and management of the company's operation functions: Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Facilities, Projects, Manufacturing, Packaging, Procurement and Logistics functions. Oversee and ensure the efficient and effective day to day operation. Plan, direct and coordinate the continual performance improvement of these various Operations functions. As a member of the management team, she/he will support the strategic planning and decisions.

- Direct, manage and improve the Operations function including Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities, Supply Chain, Fulfillment and Safety
- Generate, analyze and lead Operations projects to improve functional efficiency and effectiveness
- Represent Operations on cross functional teams led by other function officers or directors
- Develop Supply Chain management strategies
- Develop Facilities improvement projects
- Develop Engineering and Continuous Improvement activities
- Develop and manage the annual Operations Budget, including Manufacturing headcount, Material and Capital Expenditures Budgets
- Prepare Capital Expenditure Projects, as required, for approval by Senior Management
- Participate in the annual Strategic Planning process
- Participate in Product Development process
- Represent Operations on the senior management team
- Ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Exhibit awareness and understanding of SOP's related to this job description
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 5 yrs. (10 yrs. preferred) directly related experience preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industries, small to medium sized companies preferred
- BS in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- MBA preferred
- Experience in powder processing, automated assembly preferred
