Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals in production efficiency, quality, and profitability. -
• Provide leadership and direction to production, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, safety, quality, and cost. Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to address gaps.
• Ensure all operations adhere to regulatory and company standards for food safety, workplace safety, and environmental compliance.
• Oversee budgets, labor planning, and equipment utilization to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
• Work closely with the sales, R&D, and logistics teams to align production capabilities with customer needs and company objectives.
• Utilize bilingual skills in English and Spanish to enhance communication and collaboration across diverse teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of operations leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong production management experience with a proven track record of achieving operational targets.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly desirable.
