Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's aseptic and sterile manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the FDA approval process for new products, ensuring all requirements are met and any issues are promptly resolved.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in all areas of operations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Work closely with other senior leaders to align operational activities with the company's strategic goals.
- Regularly review and analyze operational data, using this information to guide decision-making and drive improvements.
- Ensure the company's 503B manufacturing operations meet all relevant quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a VP of Operations role or similar, preferably within a startup environment.
- Extensive experience with aseptic and sterile manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record in managing FDA approval processes.
- In-depth knowledge of 503B manufacturing regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent strategic planning abilities, with a proven track record in driving growth and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and use this to guide decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
- A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
