You will get to enjoy a reliable schedule, working Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5 pm. We are offering a competitive salary range of $160,000.00 - $172,000.00 per year, based on experience.

In this role you will be responsible for leading, directing, delegating work, motivating performance, conflict resolution, attendance and providing career guidance to direct reports. You'll use your expertise for technical delivery (engineering, testing, deployment) of products and ongoing service operations management. With your keen eye for detail, you'll assist the team with improving the efficiencies of the operation and service function to drive Cost, Quality and Performance metrics. Here's what you'll need to do:
- Manage, lead, and direct all operations for the facility, including asset and inventory control, shipping and receiving, engineering resources, budget, and expenses.
- Coordinate, guide, and manage engineering; work to manage the workload with a team of project and system engineers, program managers, and engineering leads.
- Manage the development of program and company-wide schedules with resource loading for active and future projects;
- Monitor program schedules managed by engineers and proactively mitigate delays.
- Ensures that the programs are implemented on time, within budget, with desired results, minimizing changes.
- Effectively communicate development strategy schedules to all levels of the organization to get buy-in and institutionalize quality practices.
- Facilitate an open environment that promotes teamwork and be a catalyst to remove organizational barriers.
- Leads cross-functional teams for high-priority, complex programs to meet strategic and program targets.
- Help cross-functional teams develop clear roles and responsibilities to enable collaboration and accountability.
- Emphasize quality and maintain/update ISO-9001 certification.
- Develop and implement a root-cause Investigation program; instill a process to conduct root-cause investigation and follow-up action reviews for critical issues.
- Employee development - recruiting, training, career planning, and performance management Develop customer, supplier, and vendor relationships:
- Implement and attend design review and approval meetings.
Qualifications that we are looking for:
- A minimum of 5+ years in a management role at a technical company
- Must have two (2) years of general facility/office management experience.
- 4-year degree in an engineering discipline; MBA would be a plus.
- 3+ years of experience working with manufacturers' reps for electronic and mechanical components.
- 3+ years of experience working with contract and subcontractors to manufacture electronic products.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
- Be organized and a good planner.
