One of my top clients, a respected skilled nursing facility in [City, Utah], is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our residents.

About You:

• A current, active Utah Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in a skilled nursing setting.
• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Strong understanding of JCAHO, Medicare, and Utah Department of Health regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to resident-centered care and a collaborative work style.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Nursing Department.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Manage staff recruitment, retention, training, and development.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
• Budget development and oversight.
