Seeking a Visionary DirectorofNursing at Fieldston Lodge Care Center
At Fieldston Lodge Care Center, a respected 200-bed skilled nursing facility with a Certified Vent Unit, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic DirectorofNursing to lead our nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned nursing professional who is passionate about elder care and is committed to excellence in nursing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the nursing staff and manage the operations of our 200-bed facility.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and evaluate nursing care plans alongside other healthcare professionals to meet the complex needs of our residents.
- Manage hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere that promotes professional growth of the nursing staff and high-quality care for residents.
- Ensure effective resource management, including staffing levels and medical supply inventory.
- Act as a liaison between the healthcare team, residents, and their families to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing management experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record in clinical nursing management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
