Director of Nursing Services DON DNS - The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens, located in Whitestone, Queens, NY, is currently seeking a Director of Nursing.

• Salary range is $160,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year with benefits
• Core schedule is Monday to Friday day shift

DON Duties Include:

• Management responsibilities including maintaining exceptional quality of care.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
• Meet the nursing needs of all residents.
• Coordinate and direct care planning for nursing services.
• Maintain and disseminate knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring and orienting of new nursing staff.
• Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.

DON Requirements Include:

• Current New York State RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Long-Term Care settings.
• Staff training with clinical staff.
• Excellent Communication.

Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

• Demonstrates advanced leadership and supervisory skills.
