Director of Nursing, Obstetrics - Tal Healthcare

Our client, one of the nation’s largest integrated health care delivery systems, is hiring a Director of Nursing, Obstetrics. The Department of Obstetrics is dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. The team employs multidisciplinary simulation, huddling, and debriefs to promote teamwork and standardize care to continually improve processes. 

Responsibilities:

• Directs, coordinates and evaluates the nursing service, professional nursing practice, and nursing education programs of the obstetrical service
• Oversee the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff
• Ensure there is adequate nursing staff

Qualifications:

• Must have New York RN license
• 2+ years of progressive nursing experience
• Must have prior experience as a Director of Nursing
• Must have obstetrics experience
• Must have strong leadership and communication skills
