As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and managing all aspects of the nursing team and program. You will ensure all nursing services are delivered in accordance with established standards and regulations in compliance with license and credentialing requirements. The role also provides leadership and guidance to the nursing team to optimize and accomplish organizational goals.
Requirements:
· Registered Nurse with a full unencumbered license in the state seeking to practice.
· Bachelors in nursing (BSN)
· Two (2) years of management experience leading a team.
· Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier. This role may be required to drive for company purposes.
· Localized travel may be required to attend meetings and conferences.
Preferred
· Three (3) year experience with chemical addiction and/or mental disorders including psych pharmacotherapy
Responsibilities:
· Partners with leadership team to plan and implement the orientation, annual training curriculum and other teammate trainings.
· Assists treatment team in identifying and providing appropriate treatment at the right level of care.
· Serves as Health and Safety Officer.
· Provide oversight and management of nursing team and medical care process.
· Maintain compliance with regulations governing alcohol and other drug entities of accrediting bodies by monitoring operations and initiating change where required.
· Assist with the development and maintenance of Quality Improvement Plan and overall policy compliance.
· Participate in monthly clinical, quarterly administration and strategic planning meetings. Leads monthly nursing department meetings.
· Attend team meetings and complete all training courses timely as required. • Other duties as assigned.
