DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON) - Five Star Recruiting

Seeking a strong and energetic Director of Nursing to lead a Skilled Nursing Facility.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: This position will require a nursing expert with the professional knowledge and skills to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the delivery of resident care and services in accordance with all current regulatory standards to ensure the highest degree of quality care; demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to provide resident care; expert knowledge of policies, regulations, and procedures governing resident care and services; demonstrated ability to apply the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing associated with short-stay and long-term resident care; preparing and maintaining detailed records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence; cultivate and manage a servant-leader relationship with residents, employees, medical staff, and the community; effective manage regulatory and company compliant quality controls; demonstrate effective verbal and written English communication.Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience: Prior experience as Director of Nursing in SNF (2+ years) preferred.Certificates/Licenses: (1) Current RN Pennsylvania License in good standing, (2) CPR certification.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:
