Director of Nursing (DON) - 1st Shift - Gardant Management Solutions

Position Details

• Job Status: Full-Time
• Salary: 87500.00 Annually
• Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

• Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visits (home visits, hospital visits).
• Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each resident.
• Delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents.
• Engages with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
• Fosters communication by regularly engaging with physicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family members.
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences.
• Coordinates the Community’s infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance.
• Supervises the Community’s medication management program.
• Contributes toward assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Complies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of team members and resident information.

Qualifications:

• Maintains current state nursing licensure, RN preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years nursing supervisory experience
• Prior senior/supportive living experience strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
