Director of Nursing Dialysis - New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

POSITION SUMMARY:

Vista Care Dialysis is free standing dialysis faclity looking to hire a Clincal Nurse Manager.

The Clinical Manager is the primary person directly responsible for oversight and  clinical expertise in nursing care practices in the dialysis facility. The ideal candidate will stimulates and guide the dialysis staff to render the highest quality of patient care;  Is licensed as a registered nurse in the State of New Jersey and has at least 24 months of experience in clinical nursing, 1 year experience as  a clinical manager / coordinator and / or 24 months of experience as a charge nurse in an  outpatient dialysis setting.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

Responsible for orienting / training of new employees; and planning, assigning, and directing work

Screens, assists and makes recommendations for appropriate admissions and discharges

Maintains logs of hospitalizations, vaccinations, vascular access and analyzes and presents data to QAPI for action plans and  performance improvement.

Participates with the Administrator in establishing and implementing standards of practice, which ensure safe, effective and efficient nursing practice.

Responsible for overseeing performance of all licensed personnel, direct patient care and technical staff when necessary.
