About the Job
We are looking for an innovative and results-oriented Director of Marketing to spearhead our marketing initiatives across both print and digital media. This role will be pivotal in shaping our brand's presence and driving customer engagement through strategic marketing efforts, particularly in managing paid advertising campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop Comprehensive Marketing Strategies: Create and execute a robust marketing plan that aligns with the company's vision, mission, and business objectives.
- Lead and Inspire the Marketing Team: Mentor and guide the marketing staff to enhance their skills and foster a culture of creativity and accountability. Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and new ideas.
- Oversee Marketing Projects: Manage marketing projects through Monday.com software, including assigning tasks, setting timelines, and overseeing proofing processes to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Digital and Print Media Management:
- Oversee Creation of Marketing Materials: Ensure the production of high-quality print and digital content, including brochures, newsletters, product packaging and social media posts. Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to maintain brand standards.
i. Order Materials: Source materials while identifying the most economical options to optimize costs without compromising quality. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery terms, if applicable.
- Brand Consistency: Monitor all marketing outputs to ensure that they reflect the company’s branding guidelines and messaging strategy, maintaining a cohesive brand image across all platforms.
- Content Creation
Direct Creative Vision: Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creative teams to establish a cohesive visual style that aligns with the brand identity and marketing goals.
- Manage Production Process: Plan and coordinate all aspects of product shoots, including location scouting, set design, and scheduling. Ensure that the production process runs smoothly and adheres to timelines and budgets.
- Quality Assurance: Review and approve all photographic and video content to ensure it meets quality standards and accurately represents the products. Provide constructive feedback to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of the content.
- Content Strategy Development: Develop a content calendar that outlines photography and video needs for upcoming product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns. Ensure that all content aligns with broader marketing initiatives.
- Utilize Multimedia for Engagement: Explore innovative ways to use photography and video in marketing campaigns, such as social media posts, website enhancements, email marketing, and online advertisements, to increase customer engagement and drive sales.
- Maintain Asset Library: Organize and manage a digital library of all photographic and video assets for easy access and future use. Ensure that assets are appropriately tagged and cataloged for quick retrieval.
- Maintain Shopify e-commerce Websites: Oversee the upkeep and optimization of Shopify e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless functionality, user experience, and up-to-date content.
- Manage Amazon Platforms: Maintain and add products to Amazon and other relevant e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate listings, pricing, and inventory management.

Paid Advertising Campaigns:
- Plan and Execute Campaigns: Design targeted advertising campaigns that effectively promote products and services across platforms such as but not limited to: Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Instagram.
- Performance Analysis and Optimization: Utilize data analytics tools to track campaign performance metrics, such as ROI and engagement rates. Adjust strategies in real-time based on performance data to optimize outcomes and budget efficiency.
Data Management
- Ensure Data Accuracy: Regularly review and update marketing-related data within the NetSuite platform to maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
- Edit Form Fields: Modify form fields and settings as necessary to streamline research activities, improve user experience, and enhance data entry processes.
- Support NetSuite Development: Collaborate with the IT and development teams to identify areas for improvement within the NetSuite system, providing feedback and recommendations based on user experience and marketing needs.
- Extract Data for Analysis: Assist in extracting relevant data from NetSuite to create detailed spreadsheets and reports. This will aid in analysis, decision-making, and dissemination of information to executives.
- Data Dissemination: Prepare and distribute data reports to relevant teams, ensuring that key insights and metrics are easily accessible for strategic planning and operational adjustments.
- Attend Trade Shows: Represent the company at industry trade shows, ensuring brand visibility and engagement with potential customers.
- Setup and Branding Maintenance: Oversee the branding setup at trade shows, ensuring that displays and materials reflect the company’s identity. Ensure that the booth is well-organized and visually appealing.
- Assist with Minor IT Tasks: Provide technical support during trade shows, such as setting up audiovisual equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of any digital presentations or demonstrations.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct In-Depth Market Research: Gather and analyze data on consumer demographics, preferences, and behavior to inform marketing strategies.
- Utilize Data for Strategic Decisions: Leverage insights from market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, ensuring that marketing efforts are data-driven.
Budget Management:
- Oversee Marketing Budget: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that funds are allocated efficiently across various marketing channels and campaigns.
- Monitor Expenditures: Keep track of marketing expenses and evaluate the financial performance of marketing initiatives to ensure financial accountability.
Collaboration:
- Interdepartmental Cooperation: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with broader business goals. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure cohesive strategies.
- Foster Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as advertising agencies and media outlets, to enhance marketing effectiveness and reach.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven focus on both digital and print media, and substantial experience in managing paid media campaigns.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to design and implement successful marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) and familiarity with SEO/SEM practices.

- Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize and execute photoshoots that align with the brand's aesthetic and marketing goals, ensuring consistency across all visual content.
Videography:
- Video Production Expertise: Experience in planning, shooting, and editing promotional videos, tutorials, and brand stories that engage the audience and drive conversions.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with video equipment, lighting setups, and sound recording to produce professional-grade video content.
Website Design:
- User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design: Understanding of principles related to UX/UI to create user-friendly, visually appealing website layouts that enhance customer interaction and drive sales.
- Web Development Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with website content management systems (CMS), such as Shopify, to manage and update website content effectively.
- SEO Best Practices: Familiarity with search engine optimization strategies to improve website visibility and search rankings, ensuring that content is optimized for search engines.

- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze marketing data and campaign performance metrics to derive actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
