Why This Job
In this role, you will work closely with leadership to develop and implement a successful marketing strategy that is aligned with business goals to increase demand and deliver on growth expectations. This role will be responsible for marketing efforts of several current brands and lines of business within CMC's Emerging Businesses Group, with the potential to add new brands through future acquisitions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market penetration, and enhance brand positioning
- Design and manage campaigns to generate qualified leads. Implement and optimize lead nurturing processes to convert leads into sales
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and opportunities for expansion. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development
- Collaborate with business leaders and commercial teams to effectively market new and existing products. Develop value propositions, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
- Optimize online presence to increase visibility and engagement
- Collaborate with Enterprise and Line of Business marketing teams to develop and manage marketing communications, including advertising, public relations, events, and promotional activities
- Plan and manage the marketing budget. Allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI and meet financial targets
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing and sales efforts. Provide sales tools, materials, and support to enhance the sales process
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics. Report on the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards
- Collaborate and coordinate with other directors of marketing across the enterprise and adjacent lines of business
- Share best practices, align strategies, and ensure cohesive messaging and branding across different business units
What You'll Need
- 7 plus years of progressive experience in various dedicated marketing roles within a complex organization
- Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to drive growth and meet organizational objectives
- Proven ability to develop effective marketing, advertising, and promotional activities that accelerates revenue growth
- Ability to travel as needed
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related experience required
- MBA or Master's degree in marketing preferred
