This Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the manufacturing group and multiple projects concurrently, and execute according to established timelines, budget and quality level. Reports to: Vice President of Operations for North America

Salary: Up to $180k depending upon prior expertise

Job Summary:

The Director of Manufacturing plays a critical role in building and managing teams, providing executive level leadership/reporting, all while monitoring projects throughout their lifecycle. He/She will be responsible for strategic process analysis to improve
operations while establishing advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Essential functions for this Director of Manufacturing will include:

• Manage projects from initiation to closure to meet the deadlines, cost and quality levels
• Oversee and direct the manufacturing managers, direct and indirect manufacturing workforce and interact with other supporting functions and groups
• Accountable for project results and managing the resources to achieve the goals
• Work with customers and stakeholders to ensure adherence to safety regulations, scope of work, goals, deliverables, KPIs, budget, timing and quality level
• Track and report project milestones and provide status to corporate executive level while keeping the work force informed of progress.
• Manage complex problems and work towards providing a timely solution to them
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Report and analyze project evaluation and assessments to ensure proper controls are in place
• Responsible for determining recruitment needs, assembling the production staff and coaching their technical/functional development and performance during the projects

We're actively seeking Manufacturing Directors with the following background profile:

• Masters Degree in Engineering (industrial, mechanical or others)
• 10 – 15 years of manufacturing supervisory experience and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Project and /or line management experience
• Proven experience in collaborating/managing key project stakeholders
• Expert on Microsoft Office Suite; strong knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 is a plus
• Understanding oral and written Spanish highly desirable
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
