Job Description:

Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a qualified Director of Maintenance to oversee all aspects of facility maintenance. This key role will involve ensuring the efficiency and safety of our facility, as well as leading a team responsible for maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of facility maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate departmental activities to ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
• Regularly inspect equipment and facility areas for performance, safety, and repair needs.
• Manage maintenance staff, including scheduling, assignments, and training.
• Maintain accurate records for repairs, warranties, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure the facility meets all safety and legal standards.
• Supervise and execute necessary repairs, upgrades, and renovations across the facility.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience (experience in healthcare settings is a plus).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Basic knowledge of nursing home building codes, regulations, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to multitask effectively and work independently.
