- Schedule: Mon-Fri and Weekends as needed
- Expected Hours: 32-40
- Pay Rates for position: hire rates $26-$32

Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and execute a diverse array of activities and programs that promote social, physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being for our residents.
- Foster relationships with residents, encouraging participation in activities that suit their interests and abilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to create a comprehensive and integrated approach to resident care and enrichment.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and ensure activities align with regulatory standards.
- Lead a team of activity coordinators, volunteers, and other staff, providing training and guidance.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification: Preferred: Certified Activity Director (ADC) through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) or similar certification.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members. Creativity and organizational abilities to plan, organize, and execute diverse programs tailored to the needs of seniors. Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations, especially those pertaining to activities programming.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
