Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Land Surveying position include:

Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in California, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Expertise in boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys.
Leading complex surveying tasks, including map preparation and boundary analysis.
Managing projects from inception to completion, focusing on schedules, quality, and budgets.
Building and maintaining client relationships while identifying new opportunities.
Supervising field crews and collaborating with Project Managers to ensure precision.
Preparing subdivision maps, records of surveys, topographic surveys, and legal descriptions.
Directing construction surveys and overseeing staking calculations for accuracy.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a robust medical PPO plan (100% paid for the employee and 50% for dependents), dental and vision coverage (100% paid for the employee), a 401(k) with a 3% match, PTO, and an annual discretionary bonus.
