Director of International and Graduate Admissions
As a result of a reorganization in the Division of Enrollment Management, Indiana State University is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Director of International and Graduate Admissions (DIGA). The DIGA will provide leadership for all aspects of recruiting, admissions, and onboarding of international students, and will work with graduate programs and the Director of Graduate Studies to recruit, admit, and onboard Graduate students. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our institution by attracting and enrolling a diverse and talented student body from around the globe. Significant experience and a record of success in the area of international student recruitment is essential. The DIGA will report directly to the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the International and Graduate Admissions team.
- Oversee the recruitment of students directly and through international agents.
- Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Studies, Associate Provost for Online Education, Deans, program directors, and faculty to streamline and strengthen the recruiting, admission, and onboarding processes.
- Foster relationships with international agents and partners to expand the institution's global reach.
- Ensure efficient processing of applications for all graduate students (online, on-campus, domestic, international, non-degree).
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of admissions and enrollment processes.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a master’s degree or the international equivalent and 3-5 years of closely related experience. Candidates must also possess or be willing/able to acquire a passport within 90 days of hiring.
