The Director of Integrated Digital Marketing will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications. This position focuses on creating and executing a frictionless digital experience and growing overall reach. You enjoy solving complex problems and working cross-functionally when needed to discover insights, optimize processes, and deliver ROI. This individual can develop and deliver an educational digital overview with accurate reporting across all measurable KPIs. The Director of Integrated Digital Marketing will integrate with multiple players and teams across the company to develop, implement, and oversee strategy and initiatives adapting and growing as the intersection of digital and data on the restaurants continues to evolve. This role requires strategic vision and tactical, granular abilities.
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual who can dive in and get projects over the finish line within given timelines, while maintaining excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience developing the full lifecycle of digital strategy across all digital platforms, including but not limited to email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, our proprietary websites, and content marketing/social media.
This dynamic position requires a passion for digital marketing and analytics, as well as an ability to resolve digital platform challenges and seek new opportunities to reach the companys overarching goals. At this time, our restaurant group actively manages seven restaurant locations (open 365 days a year), one distillery, one catering company, one non-profit, one personal brand, with an eighth restaurant location on the way in Alexandria, Virginia in the fall of 2024.

Essential Job Duties
- Oversee and optimize our Content Management Systems (CMS) for efficient content publishing and user experience, in collaboration with the team specifically WordPress, Wix, and Shopify.
- Develop and manage responsive web, UI, and UX design.??
- Develop and implement strategies for online content optimization and SEO to improve search rankings and user engagement; monitor performance to meet business goals and ensure information is consistently up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with brand standards.
- Ensure all online points of conversion are optimized, including online forms and lead generation pathways.
- Build and execute email marketing and automation campaigns using an Email Service Provider (ESP), driving open rates/overall performance; evolve and pivot, as needed, to continue impactful email marketing and automated campaigns.
- Oversee and collaborate on social media strategy, optimizing integration through reported results and developing overarching digital strategy.
- Consistently maintain a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, continually learning and navigating the ever-changing landscape.
- Analyze and report campaign initiatives with support from the team. This includes but is not limited to paid media campaigns, key performance indicators for website(s), email marketing, to go/delivery platforms, social media, and our soon-to-be-launched mobile app and loyalty program.
- Manage and develop a small team through effective teaching and constructive coaching.
- Expertly utilize GA4, other Google products and tools, and additional paid/organic search-related tools, for example Moz or SEMrush.
- Maintain working knowledge of web privacy policy changes and capacity to navigate updates.
- Assimilate quickly to new tools and technology, including but not limited to: OpenTable, third-party delivery platforms (Ex: UberEATS, Door Dash), Customer Database Platforms (Ex: Paytronix), Artificial Intelligence tools, and other API integrated tools.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
- 8+ years experience in digital marketing field with 3+ in a senior level digital marketing role
- Direct experience with:
- ESPs and executing email marketing and automation campaigns.
- CMS optimization, development, and ongoing management.
- overseeing and developing social media strategy.
- analyzing and reporting on digital data and insights
- 2+ years experience managing and developing people.
- Experience marketing within the restaurant & hospitality field strongly preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional sense of accountability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with the ability to successfully execute multiple campaigns and projects at one time.
- Self-starter with high level of initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Asana and/or Figma preferred by not required.
- Experience with Shopify/e-commerce sites preferred but not required.
