A Houston headquartered F500 company, with divisions across the United States and Europe, is seeking a Director of Information Technology.
This leadership role will be crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple IT teams, including Networking, Infrastructure, Desktop Support, and Helpdesk/Remote Support. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead and coordinate these teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the IT department, including Networking, Infrastructure, Desktop Support, and Helpdesk/Remote Support teams.
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure the seamless operation and reliability of all IT systems, infrastructure, and services.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire IT team members to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance by incorporating industry best practices.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the IT department, CIO, and key organizational stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT management roles.
- Proven experience with multiple technology stacks and security frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing a technical environment including Microsoft tools and Fortinet
- In-depth knowledge of IT security standards, compliance regulations, and best practices.
- Strong Fortinet understanding with preferred hands on experience in managing team providing support.
