In your role as Director of Human Resources, you will report to the Sr. Vice President of Administration. Your work location will be in Westlake, Ohio.
You will work with our Human Resources and Finance teams to support specific initiatives. The Human Resources leader is a generalist who will be responsible for the daily administration of all people-related functions. Duties will include driving our overall people development and strategy efforts, developing and managing company HR policies, programs and practices overseeing compensation, benefits and leave, as well as recruiting new team members.

What you’ll do:
- Represent DataServ in a positive manner to colleagues, customer base and vendors
- Develop and implement leading HR strategies and programs to support DataServ’s business and growth objectives
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment that embodies the values of DataServ and drives a productive and employee-centric culture
- Implement training and development programs to support employee growth and advancement
- Develop and manage annual performance management programs to drive employee and organizational success and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, research current pay practices and identify compensation levels for recruiting and talent management
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring and onboarding of qualified job applicants for open positions in support of department managers’ goals and objectives
- Administer new hire orientation and onboarding programs, including company required background check and employee eligibility verifications
- Administer programs related to compensation, benefits and leaves, including healthcare
- Lead employee recognition programs
- Handle employee-related issues that are sensitive in nature regarding employee discipline, terminations and investigations maintaining confidentiality, as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Stay on top of industry best practices and technologies and lead the continual advancement of DataServ’s human
